Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before working with Waptecco, answered directly.
General Questions
What does Waptecco actually do?
Waptecco supplies, installs, and maintains commercial laundry equipment, kitchen appliances, and office equipment for businesses, institutions, and Florida homeowners. We're not just a supplier. We manage the full equipment lifecycle from consultation and site assessment through installation, maintenance, and emergency repair.
Where are you based and where do you operate?
We're headquartered in Sunrise, FL 33351 and serve all of Florida statewide. Our fastest response times are in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. For locations outside South Florida, contact us for specific availability and scheduling.
How long has Waptecco been operating?
Waptecco Smart Appliance Solutions LLC is a Florida-registered company formed in 2025 (Registration No. L25000558517). We are now accepting founding clients. Contact us to discuss your project.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Waptecco holds full general liability insurance coverage for all installation, maintenance, and service operations. Our technicians are background-checked, professionally trained, and covered under company liability insurance on every job. Insurance certificates are available on request for procurement and compliance purposes.
Do you only serve large businesses or can small businesses and homeowners use you too?
We serve everyone, from Florida homeowners needing a single washer and dryer to government agencies procuring equipment for entire facilities. Our rent-to-own program in particular is popular with small businesses and homeowners who want quality equipment without a large upfront cost.
Procurement and Pricing
What are the three ways I can get equipment from Waptecco?
We offer three procurement models:
- Formal Tender / RFP: For government bodies and public institutions with formal procurement requirements. We provide full RFP/RFQ compliance documentation.
- Long-Term Service Contract: 12, 24, or 36-month agreements covering supply, installation, maintenance, and emergency repair.
- Rent-to-Own: Monthly payments build toward ownership over a written term (often 24–36 months). Deposit, maintenance, and early-end rules are in the agreement.
Do you have transparent pricing or do I have to call for a quote?
Because every project is different (different equipment, quantities, sites, and procurement types), we provide custom quotes tailored to your specific situation. Our public target is a reply within one business day.
Is there a minimum order size?
There is no published minimum. We will tell you in writing whether the scope is a fit. Single-unit rent-to-own and larger tenders are both accepted when we can perform the work.
Can I buy equipment outright without a contract?
Yes. One-time purchase is available. You'll receive the equipment with standard manufacturer warranty. Add-on maintenance plans are optional.
Do you offer volume or bulk discounts?
Multi-unit and multi-site jobs are priced as a package. Volume pricing is applied when the scope supports it and is shown on the written bid, not as a standing catalog discount.
Installation and Timeline
How long does installation typically take?
It depends on the scope:
- Single unit (residential or small business): 1-2 business days after equipment arrives
- Small commercial setup (2-5 units): 3-5 business days
- Mid-size project (6-20 units): 1-2 weeks
- Large institutional project (20+ units): 2-4 weeks with phased scheduling
We give you a clear timeline commitment before any agreement is signed.
What does installation include?
Professional installation covers site preparation, equipment placement, plumbing and drainage connections, electrical connections, and full operational commissioning. We don't leave until the equipment is running correctly and your team is trained to use it.
Do your technicians handle plumbing and electrical?
Yes. Our licensed technicians handle all aspects of installation including plumbing, drainage, and electrical connections to code. We manage the complete setup. You don't need to coordinate separate trades.
What happens if my site needs modifications before installation?
During our site assessment (which we conduct before any agreement is finalized), we identify any site preparation requirements. If modifications are needed, we outline them clearly in the proposal so there are no surprises.
Maintenance and Support
What does a service contract cover?
Service contracts include scheduled preventive maintenance, priority installation and onboarding, emergency repair with SLA, parts and labor for covered failures, and full documentation for compliance purposes.
What is your emergency response time?
Contract clients in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties receive emergency response within 4 hours. For locations outside South Florida, response times are confirmed in your contract based on your location.
What if equipment breaks during a rent-to-own agreement?
All rent-to-own agreements include full maintenance coverage throughout the contract term. If equipment fails, we repair or replace it at no additional cost to you. You are never left with broken equipment and a continuing payment obligation.
Do you offer maintenance without a full service contract?
Yes. Ad-hoc maintenance and repair services are available for clients who are not on a service contract, subject to technician availability. Contract clients always receive priority scheduling.
Government and Institutional Procurement
Can Waptecco respond to a formal government RFP or tender?
Yes. We prepare full RFP/RFQ compliance documentation, competitive pricing with volume discount structures, and vendor registration documents. We do not yet have a portfolio of completed government awards. References are provided as founding projects complete. Contact us with your tender details and timeline.
How quickly can you respond to a tender inquiry?
We can acknowledge a tender inquiry within 24 hours and typically submit a full formal response within 5-7 business days depending on the complexity of the RFP. For urgent tender deadlines, contact us directly by phone.
Can I see a sample tender response document before committing?
Yes. Email info@waptecco.com and ask for a sample tender packet. We aim to send it within one business day.
Are you registered as a government vendor?
Waptecco is a Florida LLC (L25000558517). That is not the same as a completed MyFloridaMarketPlace or county vendor enrollment. We prepare vendor-registration documents for a named solicitation on request.
Do your products meet healthcare or educational compliance standards?
We can specify barrier washers, thermal disinfection cycles, and manufacturer documentation that facilities use in their own infection-control and OSHA files. Waptecco is not a Joint Commission–certified organization. Compliance of a finished room remains the facility’s responsibility.
Equipment and Brands
What brands can you specify?
Laundry: Whirlpool, Speed Queen, LG Commercial, Samsung Commercial, Maytag
Kitchen: Bosch, Hobart, True Refrigeration, Vulcan, Manitowoc
Office: Canon, Epson, HP Commercial
We source by project. Brand availability depends on the manufacturer, lead time, and the buy type, not a showroom stock list.
Is the equipment new or refurbished?
Equipment we quote is specified as new from the manufacturer or its authorized channel unless a written bid says otherwise. We do not offer grey-market units.
What warranty comes with the equipment?
All equipment includes standard manufacturer warranty. For tender and contract programs, warranty coverage is 12-24 months. For rent-to-own programs, warranty is active for the entire contract term until ownership transfer.
Can I request a specific brand or model?
Yes. If you have a preferred brand or specific model requirements, include this in your quote request and we'll confirm availability and pricing.
Homeowners
Do you serve individual homeowners or only businesses?
We serve Florida homeowners directly. We supply and install quality washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, and dishwashers from LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, and Bosch, with professional installation, old unit removal, and flexible rent-to-own payment options.
What does rent-to-own look like for a homeowner?
A typical term is 24–36 months, then ownership transfers if the agreement is current. Deposit, what repairs are included, and what happens if you end early are written in that agreement, not assumed from this page.
Do you remove old appliances when you deliver new ones?
Old-unit haul-away can be included in the installation quote. Confirm it on the written estimate before the install date.
