Manufacturing Defects Coverage
What Are Manufacturing Defects?
Manufacturing defects are flaws that occur during the production process of equipment. These defects exist from the time the equipment leaves the factory and are not caused by use, handling, or installation. Our warranty covers these defects because they represent failures in materials or workmanship.
Examples of Covered Defects
- Faulty welds or joints that fail under normal stress
- Substandard materials that degrade prematurely
- Improperly assembled components
- Missing or incorrect parts from the factory
- Defective seals or gaskets that leak from the start
- Electrical components with factory defects
- Software bugs present at delivery
How to Identify a Manufacturing Defect
If equipment fails or performs poorly despite being used correctly and within specifications, it may be a manufacturing defect. Our technicians will assess the issue and determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage.
